1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator App Microsoft Authenticator – Apps on Google Play or Microsoft Authenticator on the App Store (apple.com) from your mobile phone.
2. then go to My Account (microsoft.com), Select UPDATE INFO in Security Info
3. On the security Info page select + Add sign-in Method
4. From the Add A Method drop down box Select Authenticator app
5. On the Microsoft Authenticator page Start by Getting the App select Next as you should have already installed or have it
6. On the Set up you Account select Next
On your Phone Select “Work or School Account” and select Scan a QR code. This will open your camera, please ensure you enable/allow Microsoft Authenticator to access your camera.
Scan the QR code from your computer and follow the on line instructions to confirm the pin in the Authenticator
Once it is all set up then on the security Info Page select the Change Default Sign-in method from Phone – text +######### to the app.
