Find Dell Model type number


1. Go to https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-id



2. Scroll down to Identify a product section and enter the Serial Number / Service Tag of the laptop then press Enter.



3. You will be landed to Laptop/device Dell record.



4. Click on “Manuals & Documents” tab on left side of the device record.



5. Click on device Manual Service link and it will redirect to a new page.




6. On Manual Service page click on PDF link.




7. When PDF file opened you can scroll down on the title page and the Model Type will be available on bottom left side of the page.
