Rebuild OST file to recover missing emails


1. This steps required if your .ost file has reached maximum capacity of 50 GB that causing Outlook unamble to receive new emails.

 

2. Open Outlook App to see your latest email in inbox, if no recent email received then close the Outlook App

 

3. Open Windows Explorer and go to :

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook




4. Find .ost file > then use right click > rename. so Outlook can generate new .ost file automatically


 

5. Reopen the outlook and perform Send / Receive
