Freeze pane on table on Ms Word

 

A. Lock Table Header on every page


1. If you create a table with rows that exceed 1 page and want the header row to stay visible at the top as you scroll across multiple pages. Follow steps below


2. Click or block the table header



3. Go to Table Layout tab



4. Click “repeat header rows”



5. Now at the beginning of the table in each page will have the title columns

 


B. View Two Sections at Once (Split Screen)


1. Go to View tab in the Ribbon > Click Split



2. Click to place the dividing line exactly where you want it. You can now scroll through the bottom section while the top pane remains completely still.

 



3. To return to normal, click Remove Split.
